BarkCollar BT-7
Play More, Bark Less
Barking is natural, but excessive barking can be disruptive. The BarkCollar™ helps by delivering a gentle correction to interrupt the barking cycle. Our BT-7 No-Bark Collar offers customizable vibration and stimulation settings so you can create a solution tailored to your dog's needs.
Exclusive Features
Collar Features
7 Adjustable Settings
The 7 adjustable settings include a vibration setting, 5 electrical stimulation settings and a progressive setting that begins with vibration and gradually progresses from low to high if the dog continues to bark.
Progressive Levels
When the dog barks, the level of the vibration or electrical stimulation (for that setting) gradually increases. When the dog stops barking, the BarkCollar resets to the lowest level for that setting.
Bark Forgiveness
When the barking begins, there is a brief delay before the collar activates. This helps differentiate “appropriate” from excessive barking.
Bark Counter
Provides information about how often the collar is activated. Helps you learn about your dog’s barking behavior – even if you are not there to observe it.
Long-Lasting Battery
The long-lasting, easy-to-recharge battery typically stays charged for several months. This may vary based on the barking frequency and pattern.
Low Battery Indicator
An easy-to-read indicator lets you know when it is time to recharge.
Lightweight & Water-Resistant
The BarkCollar is suitable for dogs of all sizes, and it features a sturdy, water-resistant design - because dogs will be dogs!

Have had a DogWatch fence for 25 years, first in Virginia, now here in Columbus. Very reliable and prompt service when needed. Highly recommend!Posted on Google
Janice LieglAugust 3, 2026I have had this service for over 20 years. Great product for keeping your dogs safely in their yard. They are quick to do repairs when wire gets cut by local cable companies which happens to me every time a neighbor gets service on their lines. Highly recommended Dog Watch.Posted on Google
Courtney KirbyJuly 23, 2026Best money I have spent for my pup! Easy and fast installation. My dog learned the fence super quick. Cannot say enough how wonderful it is to be able to sit out front with him and know he’s safe.Posted on Google
Earl KittleOctober 1, 2025I have been with DogWatch of Columbus for 33 years. They are dependable, courteous and always available when needed. In that 33 years I have had several dogs and they were all kept safe because of DogWatch's invisible fence.Posted on Google
Marty JaegerAugust 22, 2025Pat and Emily were amazing. We had our original dog watch fence put in 9 years ago by them, and always worked great. When our beloved Gunner passed away unexpectedly a year ago we had no intention of getting another dog but changed our minds recently. When I turned the dog fence on there was a break in the line and I called for service and to have our new puppy trained. Pat came out, fixed our broken line, and trained our new puppy. They’ve been doing this a long time and are very professional and dependable. Prices were reasonable and instructions for the remainder of training outlined. We couldn’t be happier with the customer service and care they provide. We highly recommend them for your dog fence needs!Posted on Google

Would I use DogWatch again? Yes Pat and Emily are great and we really enjoy our hidden fence. Our BernieDoodle does great with it and all has been good with three years. While I would definitely use them again, two challenges I have. 1) Super expensive for any repairs and the lines are not dug deep. 2) When you need to get ahold of DogWatch the phone message system is frustrating and not ideal to say the least. Again the fence is great and I would install again but when you have issues it leaves something to be desired.+0Posted on Google
Amy BarcusJuly 16, 2025I highly recommend DogWatch of Columbus. They installed our fence over 15 years ago and it is still working perfectly. They have helped us over the years train new puppies and do refreshers / system checks when our dogs needed it. Super responsive and friendly team!Posted on Google

You Asked, We Answered
A sensor inside the BarkCollar is activated when the dog barks. After three seconds of barking (the ‘bark-forgiveness’ period), the collar activates and delivers either a vibration or an electronic stimulation. The vibration or stimulation setting is adjustable and should be set to a level that is just enough to distract the dog from barking. If the dog continues to bark, the intensity of the vibration/stimulation gradually increases from the minimum to the maximum for that setting. As your dog begins to associate barking with the vibration/stimulation, he or she also figures out the sensation stops when the barking stops.
There are several variables that affect how quickly your dog’s behavior will change, most notably the personality of your dog, the frequency of things that trigger the barking and your dog’s tolerance for distraction when baking. Most dogs begin to understand the relationship between barking and the sensation from the vibration/stimulation after several activations of the collar. Barking behavior will diminish quickly in some dogs and more gradually in others. If there is no noticeable change after a reasonable trial period, check the collar to make sure the fit is good and the contact posts are the correct size. If collar fit is appropriate and the dog continues to bark, the BarkCollar setting should be increased one level.
The components in the BarkCollar are specified to operate from minus 25 degrees (F) to 125 degrees (F). A significant and rapid change in temperature may temporarily disrupt some of the BarkCollar functions until the device adjusts to the new temperature level.
The BarkCollar should be effective on dogs as small as 4 pounds.
We recommend waiting until the dog is 4-6 months old.
Yes.
No – the collar must be in contact with the dog’s neck to be activated. It activates in response to vibration, not sound.
Battery life depends on frequency of use and the barking behavior of the dog. A collar that is worn for long periods and triggered frequently will need to be recharged more often than a collar that is worn for shorter periods and triggered only occasionally. The charge typically lasts a month or more for a collar worn daily with low to moderate activation.
